About Curved Vinyl Record Pressing

Curved pressings was initially conceived by a collective of well known cutting engineers, music producers and party organisers from the London area.

In the late months of 2000, seven 1202 and one 702 Toolex Alpha pressing machines were bought and imported from Croatia. This then set the seed for outside investment by other producers, DJs and faces from the London dance music scene. The pressing plant was then built and was up and running full steam ahead.

The Curved office is still run by music business professionals, staff that have built and run a pressing plant. This gives us the knowledge and time to answer and explain all questions you have on the complicated process of pressing vinyl.

Curved also have the added advantage of having mastering studio “Curvepusher” on site. Manned by engineer Lawrie Dunster, he is at hand to answer all questions on the dark art of cutting lacquers.

Together our aim is to provide a premier service for pressing your vinyl, from seasoned campaigners to first timers.
