RIOT Radio Records is a techno label based in Livingston, Scotland run by Nomad.
Since February 2015, Nomad has run his own very successful fortnightly internet techno radio show called the “RIOT Radio Show.” On each transmission, along with a one hour set by either Nomad or his co-host randomDisco, they welcome a guest to the show for a further hour of full on bangin’ techno mayhem.
A hoard of very well-known and simply stunning acts always feature on the show along with a whole host of very talented local music makers. Each and every set aired is recorded exclusively for the show, you’ll not hear these sets anywhere else.
This was the build up to the ‘RIOT Radio Records’ record label being launched in March 2016 which also features major acts and amazing local talent. Each release features at least one original track by the starring artist and a RIOT remix by Taser or some other crazy techno wizards on the flip side.
Every single release printed on the label, and its sub-label ‘a quiet RIOT’ which is for more laid back electronic music, has been printed with Curved.
Curved was highly recommended to RIOT by many acclaimed and note-worthy artists and they weren’t half wrong.
Every single release printed for ‘RIOT Radio Records’ and its sub-label has been second to none. Whether it be the actual vinyl itself or the many printed sleeve / insert projects RIOT has worked with them on it’s been produced to a faultless degree. Everything has come back stunning in sound quality and visual representation.
Additionally, the process from start to finish, from ordering to the product bring received at RIOT HQ, is so seamless it takes a lot of any possible stress out of the whole process.
All the admin staff couldn’t be more helpful with any queries posed in regards to orders placed or wanting to be placed, they’ve helped RIOT immensely since 2016, and the engineers who do the cuts cannot be held in high enough regard at RIOT HQ.
